Branding Workshop for Startups & Entrepreneurs
On Saturday I had the awesome opportunity to speak at General Assembly Atlanta‘s Summer Blog party about branding for entrepreneurs. While I’ve been working through my ideas on branding one-on-one with a handful of entrepreneurs lately, this was the first time I’ve spoken publicly on the topic. It was a great time and I’m looking forward to working with General Assembly more as they build their Atlanta campus. If you haven’t heard of them yet, you should definitely check out their website. Next up, I’ll be teaching a branding workshop for startups & entrepreneurs with General Assembly on August 27th. We’ll be diving right into the brand development strategies and exercises I’ve used with Atlanta Ventures startups. This class will be helpful for those looking to develop their company’s brand or their personal brand. This interactive workshop will give you all of the tools you need to create a blueprint that will serve as your foundation as you grow your brand.
A lot of entrepreneurs struggle to build a brand foundation during the first couple of years of their startup because everything is changing so much and so quickly. Unless you approach these changes with a solid brand foundation, there will be confusion and lack of consistency as you scale. Even if you end up pivoting multiple times in the first few years of your startup, it’s crucial to have a brand foundation to build on. I’m really passionate about this topic as I’ve seen tons of entrepreneurs struggle in this area.
If you’re an entrepreneur and you could use some help shoring up your brand foundation and building a brand blueprint, I’d love to see you on August 27th! And stay tuned for the eBook I’ll be publishing on the topic this fall! In the meantime, you can check out my Prezi from Saturday here to give you a small taste of the branding fun that awaits you.
